Institut’ DERMed: In the spa, in the community —

Helping foster children put their best face forward

Institut’ DERMed invites you to  view Wednesday’s Child on WAGA-TV Fox 5, as Lyn Ross and Institut’ DERMed are featured with Keiyasha, a beautiful young woman looking to be adopted.

“Institut’ DERMed has taken on the mission of helping children in foster care,” says Lyn Ross.  “We are donating proceeds from our 20th Anniversary Diamond Peel to Foster Care Support to offer our services for this Wednesday’s Child and other young people like Keiyasha. It is an honor to be able to help foster children in whatever way possible.”

Sunday November 15th, 2009 Institut’ DERMed kicks-off the DERMed Teen Skincare Connection, a new initiative specifically designed to help teens with troubled skin. Once a quarter Institut’ DERMed will invite one not-for-profit that serves teenagers to bring boys and girls to the spa to take part in a free day of skincare treatment and analysis.  The teens receive a professional skin analysis, diagnosis and treatment regimen, all performed by a licensed esthetician.

Learn more about Institut’ DERMed’s involvement by tuning to Wednesday’s Child, airing in Atlanta on WAGA-TV Fox 5 with news anchor Amanda Davis:

About the Georgia Campaign for
Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention:

The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP) was founded in 1995. G-CAPP’s work is based on the belief that all children are entitled to a safe and healthy adolescence characterized by hope, respect and the opportunity for a productive future free of early pregnancy and parenthood. G-CAPP’s mission is to eliminate adolescent pregnancy in Georgia by developing, establishing and supporting ideas and program innovations that build local and statewide capacity to promote the healthy development of our most vulnerable adolescents.
